The task grows even more daunting if besides all that you also have to work with a large number of people, as you would imagine. The Redmond tech giant is aware of the difficulty many users face and is working on a new feature to make things easier for Outlook users to keep track of every update focused on them.

Outlook Notification pane coming in June

How is Microsoft planning to solve all this you ask? Well, according to Microsoft 365 Roadmap page, the company is actively working on a new Notifications pane for Outlook users on Windows. This brand new Notifications pane is being developed with the purpose of helping users stay connected with updates focused on them. Just to sum it all up, the Notifications pane will be home to all your important updates, including @mentions and everything you really need to know or keep track of. You’re also probably wondering when this new useful feature will start rolling out to all Windows users, aren’t you? Microsoft says the Notifications pane will be available for Office Insiders in the Current Channel on the Windows desktop, with general availability happening in June. That being said, it’s worth noting that Microsoft may change its plans and push the release to a later date. It’s not like the company hasn’t done it before, so we cannot rule out the possibility.
